Paramus High School is a public four-year comprehensive high school located in Paramus, Bergen County, New Jersey. The school opened in 1957 when Paramus residents decided that sharing school facilities with Rochelle Park residents was inconvenient for their young people.
Paramus High School, the only high school in the Paramus Public Schools district, today offers classes for grades 9 to 12 and serves more than 1,200 students. With 106 full-time teachers, Paramus High School boasts an 11.9-to-1 student-teacher ratio.
Paramus High School ranked 57th out of 339 public schools in the State of New Jersey in a 2014 survey by the New Jersey Monthly magazine. The school is the recipient of the National Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence from the United States Department of Education.

Paramus High School Athletics
Paramus High School is the home of the Spartans, who compete in high school athletics in the Big North Conference. The school competes in the North I, Group III section of the high school athletics for schools that have enrollment in the range of 786 to 1,074 students.
The school excels at baseball, with over 800 wins since the inception of the baseball program in 1960. Awards include four state championships, a county championship, and 13 league championships. The Spartansโ Girls Volleyball team is a star as well, with seven state championships.
