

Denise offers over 20 years experience in business management and marketing. She is dedicated to ensuring all facets of our practice run smoothly. Her number one goal is to provide optimal patient satisfaction at the Breslow Center.
Her strong leadership and analytical skills in conjunction with her ability to work both as a team leader and team member make her an asset to our practice. If you have any questions or concerns Denise is always available and willing to help.

Barbi is the Director of Aesthetic Services at The Breslow Center and Injxcellence Medical Spa, where she guides patients through every step of their aesthetic journey with warmth, clarity, and exceptional care. Her extensive background in beauty, aesthetics, and patient support allows her to create a seamless, reassuring experience from the very first call to post-treatment follow-up.
Barbi began her career as a dental assistant in cosmetic dentistry, an experience that sparked her passion for aesthetics and paved the way for her transition into becoming a licensed esthetician and professional makeup artist. She later expanded her expertise by managing salons and medical spas, strengthening her leadership, patient education, and operations skills. Before joining The Breslow Center, Barbi served as a patient surgical coordinator, further deepening her knowledge of the patient experience, treatment planning, and surgical processes.
With her unique blend of clinical understanding, aesthetic artistry, and concierge-level service, Barbi is dedicated to helping each patient feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their time with the practice.
Outside of work, Barbi loves singing karaoke, spending quality time with her three sons and two dogs, and cheering on her youngest at weekend football and basketball games.

Kaitlyn became a valued member of The Breslow Center team in January 2021, bringing her burgeoning expertise from Manhattan College where she is currently pursuing a degree in Healthcare Administration. While this marks her formal entry into the medical field, Kaitlyn’s lifelong passion for healthcare has been deeply inspired by her grandparents. As an integral part of our front office, she plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for our patients. Outside of her professional pursuits, Kaitlyn is a dedicated dance teacher and an avid world traveler, always seeking new adventures. In her spare time, she enjoys cherishing moments with friends and family, coaching cheerleading, attending New York Yankee ball games, and spending time with her two beloved dogs, Bruno and Daisy.

Krystle is the Front Desk Coordinator/Administrative Assistant for The Breslow Center. She has been working in the Medical field since 2007.
She began her career at Columbia University Medical Center in Gynecological Oncology. She then moved into private practice, ranging from Bariatric surgery to Plastic Surgery. Krystle joined the Breslow team in 2014 and ensures that our Front Desk runs smoothly, is involved in many aspects of the practice and is the right hand to our Practice Administrator.
In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family and enjoys partaking in outdoor adventures with her children. She also dabbles in children’s party planning, and she loves to cook and bake.

Ashley Mercado joined the Breslow Team in October 2025 as a dedicated Front Desk and Certified Medical Assistant. Bringing valuable experience in dermatology and plastic surgery She earned her degree in Life Science from Berkeley College and is passionate about helping patients feel confident, comfortable, and cared for throughout every step of their journey.
Ashley is highly skilled in patient care and support, phlebotomy, and is bilingual, which allows her to communicate effectively with a diverse range of patients. Her warm personality and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable part of the Breslow Team.
Outside of her medical career, Ashley enjoys creating social media content that inspires and connects with others. In her free time, she loves spending quality time with her daughter and exploring new places through travel.

Laura joined The Breslow Center in January 2022 with a very diverse professional background. A graduate of Rowan University, with a BA in Communications, she brings with her over 15 years of Corporate Marketing and Advertising experience most notably with The Swatch Group, Omega and TAG Heuer Watch Brands. After years of supporting US and International markets, Laura decided to stay close to home and manage all things family, school and sports-related for her four active sons.
As Patient Care Coordinator, Laura’s care for others is evident in her everyday work. Laura brings her personal attention and years of various skills to the practice. Laura assists in all aspects of Pre and Post-Surgery needs for our Breast Cancer and Cosmetic patients.
In her spare time…she has NO spare time…she is happily married with FOUR SONS! In the rare occasion she does, she can be found always in great company, having fun at sporting events, the beach, cooking and on many adventures with her family.

Jackie is a dedicated front desk receptionist and has experience as a front desk coordinator since 2015. She’s known for her attention to detail, and genuine love for patient care—making each patient feel valued and comfortable. She comes with knowledge and experience in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery office and hospital setting in Weill Cornell Medicine, Neurology. Outside of work, Jackie is a proud mom of two energetic boys and one adorable fur baby named Odin. When she’s not busy balancing work and family life, you’ll likely find her traveling to a relaxing beach, camera in hand ready to capture a beautiful sunset.

Cheri is a two-time breast cancer survivor, which led her to change careers and join The Breslow Center. Her journey began when she was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013, without any family history or positive BRCA genetics. This realization turned her world upside down, and amidst turmoil, with a one-year-old daughter at the time, she found solace as a patient and then employee at The Breslow Center.
Her experience has led her to help others facing similar battles with compassion, empathy, and understanding. She is a beacon of strength for our patients and their families. She will meet you at your first consultation, discuss your procedures, and continue to hold your hand and help you throughout your journey. Cheri runs a support group called "STRONG WARRIORS”. This group offers support, camaraderie, and guidance to women at every stage of their journey, emphasizing that each path is unique and valid. We encourage all women to attend, even if they are undecided about Reconstruction. Her mission is to provide a "Happy Place," reminding women that their journey, however challenging, is theirs to navigate with dignity and self-compassion.
When Cheri is not helping and assisting others in their cancer journey, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughters, and cat Giovanni. She spends a lot of time at the barn, where her daughter rides horses, and loves going to the casino with her husband.

Vincenza started with the practice in April of 2018. She is a Registered Nurse by trade and had put that behind her to stay at home and raise her now grown children. At The Breslow Center, Vincenza is responsible for recording cosmetic patient histories and works alongside of Melissa Giordano rooming patients and preparing patients for their injectable treatment. You can always find Vincenza smiling and laughing. When not at the office, she enjoys family time and cooking.

Alyssa is a board-certified physician assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition in 2018. She continued her education at Johnson & Wales University, where she graduated with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Her background in the orthopedic surgery field allowed her to gain an appreciation and passion for surgical intervention.
Alyssa enjoys plastic and reconstructive surgery for its complexity, intricacy, and the improved quality of life it provides her patients. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys reading, traveling, yoga, and spending time with friends and family.

I have 13 years of experience as a dedicated Medical Assistant, I have built a strong foundation in both clinical and surgical care. I began my career in dermatology, where I assisted with a wide range of procedures including biopsies, laser treatments, and Mohs surgery. This early experience gave me hands-on knowledge of patient care and minor surgical support.
I later expanded my expertise at Englewood Hospital, working in Perioperative Services. There, I was responsible for drawing blood, performing EKGs, and supporting patients through both pre- and post-operative care. This role deepened my understanding of hospital operations and enhanced my ability to work in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments.
Above all, I’m passionate about patient interaction. I truly enjoy building connections, helping people feel at ease, and making their healthcare experience as comfortable as possible. My goal is always to combine technical skill with compassionate care.

Oliwia brings a wealth of specialized nursing experience to her role at The Breslow Center for Plastic Surgery, where her dedication to patient care and clinical expertise are invaluable assets.
Oliwia began her nursing career at HMH Palisades Medical Center in New Jersey, where she provided comprehensive care in the medical-surgical unit. During this time, she adeptly managed complex patient needs, honing her skills in monitoring patient recovery, administering treatments, and ensuring optimal postoperative care. This experience equipped her with a profound understanding of patient care protocols and the ability to respond effectively to a diverse range of medical conditions.
Transitioning to the labor and delivery unit, Oliwia excelled in caring for both low and high-risk patients, mastering the intricacies of maternal and fetal monitoring. Her ability to anticipate and respond to obstetric emergencies further enhanced her critical thinking skills and attention to detail—qualities that are essential in the field of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
Oliwia’s transition to The Breslow Center for Plastic Surgery represents a natural progression in her career, where her background in high-stakes medical environments complements the precision and meticulousness required in plastic surgery. Jillian is a board-certified physician assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) with a strong foundation in biology from Salve Regina University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in 2019. She furthered her education at LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY, obtaining a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2022. With two years of experience in plastic surgery and certification in Sciton Joule technology, Jillian is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Her passion for her work drives her commitment to ensuring the best outcomes for her patients. Outside of her professional life, Jillian enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, and spending quality time with friends and family.
