Power-Assisted Liposuction

In this article, Dr. Farkas explains the differences between various liposuction techniques and tells us which one he recommends to patients at The Breslow Center.

“Liposuction, or suction-assisted lipectomy, is an excellent body contouring procedure. There are different types of liposuction out there, namely:

• Vaser Liposuction
• Smart Liposuction
• Microaire Power Assisted Liposuction
• Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction

At the Breslow Center I perform a safe technique using power-assisted liposuction, which in my opinion provides the best results with the least chances of contour deformity or other post-procedure issues.

SmartLipo and Vaser have mixed reviews and results. However, in my opinion they are questionable at best to really provide the results they are marketed for. So a safe technique which is performed here at the Breslow Centre really gets patients the best contour that they are looking for and the desired results.
