We did an online data search to find out which states had the highest search volume (and growing) for the terms “rhinoplasty” and “nose jobs” over the last 5 years. While some states are the ones you would have guessed, there were a few surprises on the list—here’s what we found. 

5 States Most Popular for Rhinoplasty

1. California. Unsurprisingly, cities like Hollywood and LA are hot spots for nose jobs. Facial symmetry matters in the entertainment industry, and a nose job can accomplish that.  
2. New York. Larger metropolitan areas tend to have more advanced medical facilities and a higher concentration of qualified plastic surgeons. And, NY is also where a lot of people in the fashion and film industry live. When you’re in the limelight there is a lot of pressure to look as close to perfect as possible, and so nose jobs are highly sought after here.   
3. Nevada. Cities like Las Vegas attract individuals seeking the best possible care and results, and these areas often have a higher demand for cosmetic procedures. Las Vegas has become a hub for medical tourism, a spot where people in and even outside of the U.S. are seeking top surgeons for rhinoplasty at a reasonable price.  
4. Utah. Salt Lake City has the second-highest number of plastic surgeons per capita in America, according to a Utah Valley University study. With a wide range of surgeons to choose from, more people head to Utah for their nose job surgery. 
5. New Jersey. New Jersey has regions with relatively higher levels of affluence, and people with disposable income may be more likely to invest in elective cosmetic procedures because the bill isn’t a problem for them. But money is only one of the reasons out of many NJ is popular for rhinoplasty.
