Browlift

Drooping brows and horizontal lines and furrows on the forehead can give a person a sad, angry, tired, and aged appearance. Browlift, or forehead lift, is a facial rejuvenation procedure that restores a more youthful, refreshed look to the area above the eyes. In performing a forehead lift, Dr. Breslow removes or alters those muscles and tissues that cause the furrowing or drooping. In doing so, he smoothes the forehead, raises the eyebrows, and minimizes frown lines, resulting in a more vibrant, aesthetic appearance.

The Traditional vs. Endoscopic Browlift

Dr. Breslow may use the conventional browlift method, in which the incision is in the forehead, at the hairline, or above the hairline, depending on your anatomy. Otherwise, he may perform the procedure using an endoscope, which is a miniature camera that is inserted below the skin and used to help lift the skin and remove some of the underlying muscles causing the wrinkles. He can also perform a browlift through the same incision used in upper eyelid surgery, as these two procedures are often performed at the same time.
